Furniture maintenance
First, wooden furniture maintenance methods
1) Cotton cloth should be wetted before dusting furniture. Don’t use dry cloth to wipe. Then dry out residual water lightly by dry cloth.
2) Avoid furniture surface contact with such chemicals as corrosive liquid, alcohol, nail polish, etc.
3) Avoid rinse with water or use wet cloth clean imitation-plywood-board-made furniture, in case of dis-gluing, expand, paint damage or degumming of imitation plywood board.
Second, metal, gold foil and silver foil maintenance methods
1) Wipe with soft dry cotton cloth. Don’t use all-powerful detergent or frosted detergent.
2) All metal furniture has protective film. But it may lead to oxidize & rust if protective film is scratched or eroded under high humidity or saline water in long-term. So use dry cloth to wipe.
Third, fabric maintenance methods
1) Avoid direct sunlight, especially try to avoid long exposure of outdoor sunlight to overall or part fabric furniture, avoid high temperature heat source.
2) At least absorb dust one time every month, especially the accumulated dust among fabric structure, so as to make even abrasion and to ensure the service life of furniture by avoiding sitting on the furniture with sweat & dust.
Four, leather maintenance methods
1) Don’t put furniture under the exposure of sunlight, which will lead to leather crack and color fading.
2) New-buy leather sofa maintenance: Firstly, wet cloth with clean water. After drying the cloth out, use it to wipe dust or dirt on the sofa surface, then wipe sofa surface one to two times gently by leather care (Don’t use waxy leather care) so that it will form a protective film on leather surface which is easy to clean by separating more dirt into leather pore.
3) Wipe one to two time every month repeatedly by dry cotton cloth being wetted with clean water before.
4) Avoid edge tool to scratch leather, if there is some stain on sofa, it should be clean with leather cleaner at once
5) If you make leather dirty by drink by mistake, you should dry it out by clean cloth, and wipe with wet cloth, let it dry naturally. Don’t dry with hair drier.
Five, synthetic leather maintenance methods
1) Avoid high temperature place. Over-high temperature will makes synthetic leather transformation and adhesion. So furniture is inadvisable to put near stove or radiator and direct exposure by sunlight.
2) Don’t put in a room with over-low temperature. Over-low temperature or direct cold airing will make synthetic leather cold, crack and harden.
